Inclusive design is a design method that actively involves minorities who have been excluded from conventional design processes, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and foreigners, to create new value together. As the keywords of SDGs and diversity are permeating society these days, I think that more and more creators are becoming aware of them in their work. This time, C&R will hold a seminar on the theme of “inclusive design”.
This time, the speaker is Keita Takizawa, the representative of PLAYWORKS Inc., an inclusive design consulting firm that creates innovation through co-creation with diverse people. Mr. Takizawa started working on inclusive design early in Japan, and as a leader of the pro bono team “General Incorporated Association PLAYERS”, he conducts co-creation workshops, demonstration experiments, information dissemination, etc. to address various social issues. . In this seminar, we will introduce the inclusive design that society will demand in the future, based on the knowledge and case studies that we have acquired through various activities. This content is especially recommended for those who want to contribute to society by making use of their own creative skills such as design, direction, and project management.
