■What are Astar Network and Shiden Network?
Astar Network is a Layer1 blockchain aiming to become a dApps Hub on Polkadot, founded by Sota Watanabe. Polkadot aims to solve blockchain interoperability challenges and by its design does not support smart contracts and cannot build dApps directly on Polkadot. In that respect, Astar supports Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and WebAssembly (WASM), creating an environment that makes it easy for developers who were developing Ethereum and Web Apps to develop dApps.
Shiden Network is also connected to the Kusama Network, an
