i GO Co., Ltd. has developed an epoch-making English learning method [Acty Method] that combines typing and English, and is currently teaching English mainly to elementary school students. As the number of people wishing to join FC is rapidly increasing nationwide, we will hold a new FC membership information session in January.

Is English a subject? Compulsory?
Since 2011, elementary schools have made English classes compulsory. In other words, there are classes but no grades. From 2020, elementary school and junior high school English learning guidelines will change significantly from 2021, and English will be a subject for 5th and 6th graders.
For this reason, there are currently two English classes per week for a total of 70 hours, with the aim of improving the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a well-balanced manner. Now that it has become a subject, the course content is divided into 4 skills and 5 areas, and a curriculum that has continuity with English at the junior high school level is set up.
The goal is to “cultivate the qualities and abilities that form the basis for communication,” and this is almost the same as the content of the current curriculum guidelines for junior high schools. In other words, the level of English learned in elementary school has risen so much. In addition, the implementation grade of “Foreign Language Activities (English)” was brought forward and started from the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school.

In particular, the learning environment itself for elementary school students has changed significantly, such as not only English but also programming classes becoming compulsory subjects at elementary schools. In addition, the number of English words learned in junior high school has increased from 1,200 to 400, reaching 1,600 to 1,800. [Image 2
WHY ACTIVE METHOD

Unlike general English learning, Actimethod does not practice writing with a pencil at all.
Since students practice using a computer and keyboard instead of pencils, they acquire typing skills as soon as they start learning. By using these skills to practice English words [accurately] and [fast], you will be able to learn English words quickly. Before you know it, you will be able to quickly learn English words.
If you start learning with the Acty Method when you are in elementary school, you will be able to master 1600 English words that you will learn in three years of junior high school before entering junior high school.
