Legal Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yasuharu Futaki), which develops and operates the legal research system “LEGAL LIBRARY” for legal professionals, is a joint venture with Nippon Hyoronsha Co., Ltd. We have signed a basic contract for publication.
As the first publication, we will start publishing “Agatsuma Ariizumi Commentary Civil Law [8th Edition]”.

■ What is “Agatsuma Ariizumi Commentary Civil Code [8th Edition]”? This time, in the “LEGAL LIBRARY”, Professors Sakae Agatsuma and Toru Ariizumi, former professors emeritus of the University of Tokyo, Professor Makoto Shimizu, former professor emeritus of Tokyo Metropolitan University, and Professor Teruaki Tayama, professor emeritus of Waseda University, jointly authored “Azuma Ariizumi Commentary on Civil Law”. [8th edition]” will be published.
This book corresponds to the 2021 revision of the property rights edition, and also includes new judicial precedents since the revision of the law of obligations.
