■Does it really disappear? “Microsoft 365” backup
According to Microsoft’s announcement, the number of users of “Microsoft 365” has quadrupled in the year from February 2020 to February 2021. On the other hand, there are an increasing number of cases where the Microsoft 365 functions alone cannot prevent data loss.
The following cases are increasing as the main causes of data loss in Microsoft 365.
・User accidentally deleted or overwritten data
・The data was damaged during collaborative editing.
・Important data was also lost due to revocation of the license of a retired employee.
・Backup data was also infected by ransomware targeting SaaS
・Retired employee maliciously deleted data
■ It is important to take thorough measures together with the standard backup function
Microsoft 365 comes standard with the ability to recover deleted data. However, since there are limits on the amount of data that can be restored and the period of time, depending on the situation, this alone cannot be said to be a perfect countermeasure, and situations that lead to data loss as described above may occur.
Explain how to easily achieve comprehensive Microsoft 365 data protection In this seminar, we will explain the importance of backup measures in Microsoft 365, and introduce data protection issues unique to SaaS and specific solutions with actual data restoration demonstrations. Join us if you’re in the systems operations department and want to learn the best way to achieve comprehensive Microsoft 365 data protection with easy setup.
*This seminar includes the same lecture content as the seminar held on July 14, 2022.
