Concluded a disaster agreement with all municipalities in Aomori Prefecture
Michinoku Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture; President: Hirokazu Tanimura) has agreed with Rokkasho Village, Kamikita-gun, Aomori Prefecture (Village Mayor: Mamoru Toda) to support the development of beverages in the event of a disaster. A signing ceremony was held on December 20 (Tuesday) to conclude an agreement on security.
This agreement stipulates the necessary matters regarding the supply of beverages in the event of an earthquake, storm or flood damage, or other disaster in Rokkasho-mura, or when there is a risk of such a disaster. This is the 98th similar agreement in our business area (Iwate, Akita, Aomori) and the 42nd in Aomori (*). In addition, with this conclusion, we have concluded the same agreement with all 40 municipalities in Aomori Prefecture. In the future, we will continue to further build a system to help each other through the prefecture and neighboring municipalities in the event of a disaster that may strike at any time and place.

At the signing ceremony, the agreement was exchanged between Mr. Mamoru Toda, the mayor of the village, and Mr. Seietsu Nakamura, General Manager of the Aomori Sales Department of the Company. Based on this agreement, in the event of a disaster, etc., we will strive to promptly procure and deliver Coca-Cola products based on requests from Rokkasho Village. In addition, we will exchange information with Rokkasho Village on a regular basis in the event of a disaster that may occur at any time and place, and work together to identify each other’s contact information and person in charge.
