It is a three-story wooden building that looks like the bathhouse that appears in “Spirited Away”. Namari Onsen has a history of 600 years, and opened as a hot spring inn in 1786 to serve as a public bathhouse. You can enjoy four baths, including Japan’s deepest natural rock bath “Shirozaru no Yu”.
“Namari Onsen” is said to be only 1% of the hot springs, and has been selected as one of the “Hot Spring Heritage”, “New Japan 100 Famous Hot Springs”, and “Japan 100 Famous Hot Springs”.
In the children’s story “The Bear of the Nameto Mountain” written by Kenji Miyazawa, it is said, “If you treat a stomach ache, it will heal your wounds. Lead hot water…”.

Opened on January 13, 2015 as a villa next to Fujisan Ryokan. All rooms are luxury suites with open-air baths overlooking the Toyosawa River, and the open-air baths in guest rooms are equipped with the famous Namari Onsen.
*Fujisan Ryokan Bettei Namari Onsen Kokoro no Toki Guests staying in December can also use the facilities at Fujisan Ryokan.
