Come on, children and adults alike! A big event by Kumamon General Director Kumamon Birthday Festival 2023 will be held at two venues in Kumamoto City! A special site is also open today!
The event “Kumamon Birthday Festival 2023 ~ WELCOME TO Kuma” commemorates the birthday (Sunday, March 12) of “Kumamon”, the sales manager and happiness manager of Kumamoto Prefecture, who is now popular not only in Japan but all over the world. Monland “Big Kumamon Festival” will be held!
The theme of this year’s project is “Festival”. Kumamon will be the general director of the event, and will be held on March 11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun) at two venues, Kumamoto City’s “Hanabatake Square” and Kumamon’s activity base “Kumamon Square”. For two days, we will deliver happiness and surprises full of “festival mode” such as “fun events”, “luxury guests”, “delicious food stalls”, etc.
Some guests have also been announced, and on Saturday, March 11th, the mysterious music wrestler “Hinokuni Kumamoto Mask”, who is rumored to be a friend of Kumamon, will appear. Also, on Sunday, March 12th, the music unit “Keropons”, which is very popular with children, will hold a stage. Various songs and dances will be performed with Kumamon. A “Kumamon Birthday Festival WEEK Project” has also been decided to be held in various places in the city, including Kumamon Square. (Details to be announced at a later date)
