What is Gunma Minakami Hodaigi Ski Resort (former name: Hodaigi Ski Resort)? About 2.5 hours by car from central Tokyo, and about 1.5 hours by Shinkansen and bus from Tokyo Station. As the name suggests, Gunma Minakami Houdaigi Ski Resort is located in the Hodaigi district of Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture. Speaking of “Minakami Town”, it is known for being the source of the Tone River and for “Tanigawadake”, which is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. A town with a great natural environment that is hard to imagine in the Kanto region, such as having multiple locations. With a top elevation of 1,400m, this ski resort boasts an abundant amount of snow and world-class powder snow. One of the attractions is the variety of courses that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from advanced skiers to families with small children.

Three new super ball cats (tower type) made by SMI are introduced. With a total of 12 snow machines, we are ready for you to enjoy comfortably right after opening.
Restaurant menu renewal
“Ramen Marukoya”, which was published in the magazine “Gunma no Umai Ramen”, is newly added to the menu of Hodaigi Shokudo. A new DDC cafe has also opened, and there are plenty of gourmet foods that you can take a break.

free shuttle bus
This season, we have decided to operate a shuttle bus that goes back and forth between Joetsu Shinkansen “Jomo Kogen Station” and “Hodaigi Ski Resort”. If you want to take it easy on your way back and forth, or if you are worried about driving on snowy roads, please use it. *Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays from December 29, 2022 (Thursday) to March 21, 2023 (Tuesday)
