Ken Matsudaira actor/singer
Born in 1953. Born in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. Debuted in 1975 on TV “Zatoichi Monogatari ~ Shinju Aiya Bushi ~”.
Starred in the period drama “Abarenbo Shogun” series for about 25 years (832 times in total).
From 2020, he opened his own YouTube channel “Matsuken Tube”. From April this year, he appeared in the corner of “Matsuken Sanpo”, which introduces the three Tokai prefectures while taking a walk, on Tokai TV’s information program “Switch!”.
As for the stage performances, he has been active in a wide range of activities from period dramas to musicals such as “Welcome, Minato Sensei”, “Makai Tensei”, and “Kiss Me Kate”.
In 2004, “Matsuken Samba II” created a huge boom in singing and dancing, and in 2004 and 2021, he participated in NHK’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen” twice.
