We were invited to participate in the largest rice competition in Japan and overseas.

I served as a final jury judge for the 24th Rice and Taste Analysis Appraisal Contest International Competition in Komoro, sponsored by the city convention executive committee.

Overview of the 24th Rice Taste Analysis Appraisal Contest
International Convention in Komoro
The International Rice Taste Analysis Appraisal Contest gathers together domestic and foreign rice, examines and evaluates it, seeks safety and good taste, and is devoted to producing high-quality rice every day. This is a rice competition held by the Association of Rice and Taste Appraisers since 2000 with the aim of supporting and recognizing this.
At the beginning of the event, only the “grading inspection” was the mainstream when it came to inspection of rice. I was. From the 10th competition, it became an international competition, and now it has the largest number of submissions in Japan and overseas, and it is one of the largest rice competitions in terms of scale, award categories, etc.
This competition will be held in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, and brown rice will be used in the first screening, and polished rice will be used in the second screening. The final judging will be conducted according to the sensory examination method, and 30 experts will perform sensory examination and vote as judges.

Background of jury selection
Representative Onodera is a five-star rice meister and a rice and taste appraiser. We conduct consulting activities aimed at business expansion and sales improvement in the business department. Based on our achievements so far, we have been invited to be a judge by the Association of Rice and Taste Appraisers.
