[Survey report] What smartphone apps are useful for raising children? “Piyolog” won first place!
Information media “ahamo” (https://sublogg.com/ahamo/) operated by Review Co., Ltd. (https://jafmate.co.jp/) is aimed at people over the age of 10 all over Japan. We carried out questionnaire survey about “smartphone application useful for child care”.

When we surveyed smartphone apps that are useful for raising children, the number one was “Piyolog”.
Others will be introduced in the ranking format.

After 2nd place, “Ninal Baby” and “Step Baby Food” followed, and “Baby Report” came in 8th place.
1st place: Piyo log
・This is because you can manage all information such as what time you ate, how long you slept today, and when you last excreted in one Piyolog. It’s also nice that you can share it with your family. (Female in her 30s)

It’s nice to be able to search easily while taking care of your child because you can look up anything you’re curious about or want to know about baby food. ・An app with lots of recipes for baby food that is being updated, making baby food, which is the first barrier to parenting, so you don’t have to worry about menus, you can search for leftover ingredients in the adult menu, and there are recipes for each growth period, which is convenient. 3rd place: Vaccine Note
・Because you can check at a glance what kind of vaccinations you have done, I thought it would be a convenient app for raising children. (Female in her 40s)

3rd place: Daily Tamahiyo
・There is a chat room with the same birth month, where you can vent your troubles and ask questions. I didn’t have any mom friends around me, so I used the app to gather information and complain. (Female in her 30s)

・I forget which one I breastfed, so I use it every time, and I’m asked how many times my diaper is dirty, so it’s also perfect for collecting information. (Female in her 20s)

7th: Handmade baby food
・I didn’t know where to start, and the pamphlet I got from the city wasn’t enough, so I used this app. Recommended recipes came out depending on the ingredients, and the meal was not monotonous, which was very good. (Female in her 20s)

When we conducted a questionnaire to 100 people, 20.0% of them answered “Piyolog”.
Also, as reasons for responding, there were many opinions that it was easy to understand because it could record the baby’s life rhythm, and that it could be shared with family members.
Busy moms seem to like apps that make it easy to record.
