[Battle commentary]
Fukuoka, who is aiming for consecutive wins, showed #23 Harris full throttle from the beginning. #43 When he assists Nagayoshi’s pick and roll, he himself decides the basket count. Even in defense, he played well and found his rhythm, scoring 22 points in the first half alone and leading the team. However, they struggled with Kumamoto’s height and ended the first half with 5 points behind.

Fukuoka tried to come back in the second half, #7 Gurin scored a 3-point shot early in the start, and although they tried to grab the rhythm, they could not protect Kumamoto’s offense centered on the inside, and the lead was extended.
#24 Honda and #6 Otsuka struggled, but Fukuoka, which had the initiative, was unable to regain its pace and was completely defeated by Kumamoto.

[Comment from HC Ramon Lopez Suarez]
It is very frustrating to lose to Kumamoto four times. We knew they were a strong team, but we were overwhelmed physically and it turned out to be a difficult match. Kumamoto flies well, runs well, and has height.
I think that was the part where there was a big difference in 4Q. We tried as many tactics as we could, but we ended up losing on rebounds, and even with tight defense, we ended up scoring a shot at the end. As things stand, it is difficult to win in a row, but I think one of the reasons is that the team is not in good condition. The most important thing is for all the players to practice together and play in the best conditions possible, and that is the starting line. I don’t think our level is high enough to compete against top teams, but I think we put up a good fight. However, I think that if we can win from there and create a good condition and mentality, we can still improve.
