A total of 128 members of society from all over the country worked on social contribution activities through a support project sponsored by a specified non-profit organization Nimai no Business Card (location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; representative: Yuki Hiroki).
I think there are many people who want to contribute to society, but are unable to take the first step.
The second business card of a specified non-profit corporation recruits members of society who want to contribute to society, and provides opportunities for support projects to support non-profit organizations that tackle social issues.
What is different from general pro bono is that we respect the desire of the participants and do not limit or select participants based on skills. That’s why we call it the “Support Project Connected by Thoughts”.
The only requirement for participation is to participate in the “common room” to gain a deeper understanding of the activities of non-profit organizations. Anyone who sympathizes with group activities and can work well can participate. The period is 3 months, so it’s perfect for the first step.
Established in 2009, the organization is now in its 13th year. In fiscal 2022, 23 support projects were implemented, with a total of 128 people working on them.
Participants range in age from their 20s to their 60s, and recently there has been a notable increase in the participation of healthy post-retirement seniors. Currently, all activities are online, so you can participate from anywhere in the country.
Touch the front line of social issues and broaden your horizons. The joy of being able to contribute beyond organizations and positions. There is a feeling in the support project that can only be experienced by those who have experienced it.
We plan to implement 30 support projects in the next fiscal year. The second business card will continue to create positive changes for people and society.
