“VIRTUA FIGHTER esports CHALLENGE CUP SEASON_1 [3rd] FREE FINAL / 3on3 FINAL” will be held on February 5th (Sun) at “Asakusabashi Hulic Hall” Audience holding decision! !
SEGA Co., Ltd. will use the currently distributed PlayStation (R) 4 “Virtua Fighter esports” as the title, and the Sega official “VIRTUA FIGHTER esports CHALLENGE CUP SEASON_1 [3rd] FREE FINAL / 3on3 FINAL”, which will select professionals, will be held in February 2023. We have decided to hold it offline and with an audience at Hulic Hall in Asakusabashi, Tokyo on the 5th (Sunday).

This tournament will be the final round where 16 “FREE division” and 2 teams of “3on3 division” who have won the qualifying to be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 will advance and decide the championship. In the “FREE category”, we will select professionals as a Japan e-sports professional license certification tournament. The winner and runner-up will be granted the right to issue a “Japan esports professional license” for “Virtua Fighter esports” by JeSU (Japan esports Union).
In the “3on3 division”, each player of the FINAL winning team will be awarded a “VIRTUA FIGHTER esports original arcade controller”. Details of the tournament, such as how to view at the venue and distribution information, will be announced at a later date, so please look forward to the follow-up report.
