1st place: Grandpa / Grandma
・Because it is a local tradition.
・Because I always give it to you.
・I will go home on New Year’s Day.
・Because I will refuse.
・Every year, I receive New Year’s gifts from my grandpa and aunt. ・I get it every year when I go home.
2nd place: parents
・Because it is the closest existence.
・That kind of feeling.
・I give it to my children every year.
・As the most familiar beings, parents have no choice but to be the ones who give New Year’s money.
・I got it from my parents when I was little.
・My parents are grandchildren for my children, so I never have a New Year’s gift.
3rd place: Uncle/Aunt
・Because he is the first nephew for my uncle and aunt, and I can receive it from four people.
・I exchange New Year’s gifts with my sister (aunt for my child) family who live in neighboring prefectures. It’s easy because the amount is decided by age.
・I receive money from my grandparents and other relatives, but the total amount I receive from my uncles and aunts (brothers of my parents) is larger.
・Since I live nearby, I have a chance to meet him on New Year’s Day, so I’ll take it.
・Because I can get it every year as soon as possible. Children seem happy too. 4th place: other relatives
・Because love is there.
・Because it is often given.
5th place: Other
・”Grandpa/Grandma, Uncle/Aunt, Parents, Relatives” I listed all the people who donate every year. Perhaps because I don’t have children of the same generation, everyone gives me New Year’s money.
・”Children” When I am over 60 years old, my children will give me a new year’s gift.
・”Grandpa, grandma uncle, aunt, cousin brother, cousin sister” I receive New Year’s money from many people.
[Summary] Who will give you New Year’s money in this survey? The first place was “Grandpa and Grandma”.
The New Year is coming soon, and overwhelmingly many of the
respondents said that they would receive New Year’s money from their grandparents. I think that each environment is different, such as living in a distance where you can see your grandpa and grandma frequently, living far away and seeing each other only once a year, but you also want to see the happy face of your cute grandchildren. I would be happy if I had the opportunity to spend time with my grandpa and grandma during the year-end and New Year holidays.
