Full of highlights such as a 3D map of the course and a view of the race The Hakone Ekiden will be held on January 2nd and 3rd, 2022, from Yomiuri Shimbun-mae in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo to Lake Ashinoko in Hakone-machi, Kanagawa. 10 seed schools, 10 schools that passed the preliminaries, and 21 teams from the Kanto Student Union participating in the open. This time, for the first time in three years, it was possible to cheer on the roadside, albeit with some conditions. Supporters along the route are required to wear masks and keep a distance from others.
