The “Hyperdimension Neptunia” series, developed by “Idea
Factory/Compile Heart” and having sold over 3 million copies worldwide, will be staged as a musical in September 2023.
“Hyperdimension Neptunia” is set in the world “Gaimugyo World” with the motif of the actual “game industry”, and the heroine character “Neptunia” and other beautiful girls appear in “Personification x Moe x Transformation”. is a concept RPG game.
The script and direction will be directed by Sho Kubota, a director who has worked on a wide range of stage productions, from
2.5-dimensional to straight stages such as the stage “Fire Force” series and “Our Seven Days War”. Casting will be decided by audition. -Comment from Sho Kubota-
Since the first work was announced in 2010, it has been serialized one after another, and this work has been developed and loved in various worlds, such as anime, manga, and novels. After all, I think that one of the reasons for its popularity is its very attractive characters. I will be responsible for the important part of “directing” that will make the characters three-dimensional on the stage. I will do my best to make the charming characters shine even more attractively on the stage in front of me. I’m looking forward to drawing a new charm of the Neptune series.
