Grill Ippei was founded in 1952 by Kan Yokoyama, a female entrepreneur, in Shinkaichi, a mecca for entertainment that was called “Asakusa in the East, Shinkaichi in the West” at the time. It became the second generation and was damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake on January 17, 1995. Due to the collapse of the store, the evacuation of employees, and the difficulty in securing food, we were forced to choose to close the business. However, regular customers who didn’t want to lose Grill Ippei built a prefabricated store and were supported by the kindness of the customers, and the third generation headed the effort. has been revived.
