One of the railway passenger cars preserved and exhibited at Poppo no Oka in Isumi City will be changed into a dining car only on the night of December 17th. A course meal called “Isumi Galaxy Railway Starry Christmas Dinner with Erhu Concert” is offered. An erhu concert and stargazing are also held.

You can enjoy a Christmas dinner using the best ingredients from Isumi City in the special dining car.
Many types of railroad cars are preserved and exhibited at Poppo no Oka. Light up those vehicles this night. In addition, one vehicle will be made into a special dining car. It’s like a dining car on the Galactic Railroad.
The dining car serves a full-course dinner using Isumi’s finest ingredients. Seafood caught off the coast of Isumi City, where the Oyashio Current and the Kuroshio Current collide, boasts top-class quality even in Japan, enough to impress even first-class chefs.
