Miki Yamaoka (Miki Yamaoka)
Born in Utashinai, Hokkaido, born in Otaru
After studying in New York for about 3 years, after returning to Japan, he performed at various jazz festivals, live houses, and events.
・1989 5th Japan Jazz Vocal Award “Rookie Award”
・2007 23rd Japan Jazz Vocal Award Grand Prize
Over 20 years of career as a jazz vocalist.
From 1976 to 1977, he was enrolled in Kyosen Ohashi’s Thoroughbreds and appeared in “11PM”.
He has a brilliant track record, participating in the Japan tour of the Glenn Miller Orchestra and performing at the Hibiya Noon Summer Jazz Festival for 10 consecutive years.
