The areas along the Saikyo Line are full of charm♪ This time, we have expanded the area along the Kawagoe Line! Held from January 30 (Mon) to February 28 (Tue), 2023
“Peace Najikan”, a free magazine for families raising children in Saitama Prefecture, is sponsored by the photo contest executive committee (JR East Omiya Branch, Peace Najikan, Saitama Mama Camera Team “chouchou”), on the JR Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line. As part of the appeal of the railway line, the 2nd [Saikyo Line STORY] Instagram Photo Contest will be held for 30 days from January 30th (Monday) to February 28th (Tuesday). The award, which started in 2020, will be held for the second time in two years.
The area along the JR Saikyo Line includes Omiya Ward, Saitama City, which has been ranked high in recent years as a livable city, and Urawa Ward, which is known as a city of education. There are cafes popular with families with children and women, and the charm of the town is attracting attention. In addition, the area along the Kawagoe Line, which connects Omiya Station to Kawagoe Station, has spots that are easy for families with children to use, and there are still many unknown charms.

Therefore, in this second photo contest, in addition to the target areas along the Kawagoe line, we are looking for photos that convey the charm of the city, such as favorite spots and people along each line. The application photos will also be posted on posters in the station premises. In addition, the mama camera team “chouchou” based in Saitama Prefecture participated as a judge.
In this event, we would like to convey the charm of the wonderful spots and local people along the Saikyo and Kawagoe lines, which can only be conveyed because the stage and people are rooted in the Saitama area.
