The Japan Fishing Goods Industry Association will hold “Fishing Festival 2023 in Yokohama” on January 20, 2023.
From Sunday (Friday) to January 22 (Sunday), it will be held at Pacifico Yokohama for the first time in three years.

The “Fishing Festival” started as “Japan Fishing Show” in 2015, and changed its name to “Fishing Festival” in 2020. It will be held as one of the largest fishing events in Japan to promote the enjoyment of fishing. I was.
The past two years have been held online due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, but the number of viewers far exceeded expectations in the two online holdings, and the number of site visitors from all over Japan, as well as 100 countries around the world, was 26. “Fishing Festival 2023” will be held for the first time in three years in response to the expectations of “fishing fans” who want to “experience new products!” In addition, online will continue for domestic and foreign “fishing fans” who cannot come to the venue. It will be the first real and online event since the beginning of the “Fishing Festival”, and we will introduce new products and recommended products for 2023 from 150 exhibiting companies and organizations before anywhere else.
At this event, not only information on new products to watch in 2023, but also talks and live performances by top anglers, casting live performances, “fishing camp” x “fishing meal”, etc. on the main stage, as well as a special event by Kenjiro Yamashita We will hold programs that appeal to a wide range of people, not just fishing fans, such as talks and the popular fishing program “Tsuribito Banzai Talk Show” on NHK BS Premium.
On the first day of the event, the “Cool Anglers Award 2023” award ceremony will be held, featuring Ao Miki, who is known to be one of the best fishing enthusiasts in the entertainment world. Mr. Ao has also been appointed as a “fishing etiquette improvement ambassador” and holds a talk show about the charm and etiquette of fishing. This long-awaited real-life event is full of projects unique to real life, and has a program configuration that will satisfy everyone from fishing fans to outdoor fans!
