The Faculty of Bioresource Sciences has two departments, the Department of Regional Resource Development and the Department of Life and Environment.

Department of Regional Resource Development Only the entrance exam for the first semester will be held. In addition, the university entrance common test is mathematics (2 subjects), science (1 subject), and a foreign language (English), and the individual academic ability test is comprehensive question A (no English assignments). The Shobara Campus is the only venue for the Individual Achievement Test. There is no late recruitment.
Department of Life and Environmental Sciences The schedule for the first semester will be recruited for each course. In both cases, the common university entrance test consists of 7 subjects in 5 subjects: Japanese, Mathematics (2 subjects), Science (2 subjects), Geographical Civics (1 subject), and Foreign Language. The individual academic achievement test will be Comprehensive question B (a) and
Comprehensive question B (b). For the second semester schedule, the application will be made collectively as a department (progress selection). The university entrance common test is the same as the first semester, but the individual academic ability test will be Comprehensive question A (including English assignments),
Comprehensive question B (A), and Comprehensive question B (B). After enrollment, students will be assigned courses based on their preferences and grades at the end of the first semester of the second year. Both the first and second semester exams are held at the Shobara campus and the Hiroshima venue.

In the Department of Regional Resource Development, it is possible to obtain a teacher’s license for high school agriculture. In the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences, it is possible to obtain a junior high school and high school science teacher license.
