Hokkaido has many animals that can only be found in Hokkaido. Ezo brown bears, Ezo deer, Ezo sable, Ezo flying squirrels, Ezo owls, etc. are named after the old name of Hokkaido, “Ezo.” Blakiston’s fish owl and long-tailed long-tailed fish are named after shima, which means Hokkaido. Ezo red fox with “Kita” used to mean north of Hokkaido, etc. All of them are full of strong vitality to survive the long and severe winter, which lasts for half a year.
I started distributing pictures (=still images) of animals on Instagram, and as they were well received, as a TV station, I wanted to shoot and distribute the animals in motion (=videos).
It’s been about two years since I started filming videos of animals, and I’m ready to show you many cute animals, including rare footage that you can’t see easily. On January 25, 2023, YouTube “Hokkaido Cute Animal Channel” will officially start.
We would appreciate it if you would patronize us along with the Instagram “Hokkaido 3 Big Cute Animals” project.
-I will show you some videos. –
“Snowfall long-tailed tit is too cute”
[Video 5: https://prtimes.jp/api/movieim.php?url=www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsAJOzeiJV8] The long-tailed long-tailed fish gained popularity from the
preparatory stage of the channel.
The video, which is only one minute long, was shot in high-definition 4K and in 4x slow motion.
“Countdown to the arrival of the three Ezo momonga brothers! 』
[Video 6: https://prtimes.jp/api/movieim.php?url=www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPUWGhUaVDo] A 4K video of three Ezo flying squirrels lined up in front of one burrow. “Until the next flying squirrel appears… 10, 9, 8…3, 2, 1,” the “countdown” is displayed on the screen.
“Super cute ezo sable hyokkori”
[Video 7: https://prtimes.jp/api/movieim.php?url=www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WTD-LRoBkk] This is a 4K and 4x slow-motion video of the precious Ezo sable, which is rare and nocturnal, so it is difficult to see it. It has a cute face like a stuffed animal, but it is strong-willed and carnivorous, so it is also called “the forest’s little killer”.
“Like God’s messenger… The mysterious world of Ezorisu”
[Video 8: https://prtimes.jp/api/movieim.php?url=www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac76Sp3Frss] A 4K & 4x slow motion video of an “albino” white Ezo squirrel that has no pigment on its body.
This is a video of a very rare white Ezo squirrel, only a few of which have been confirmed even in Hokkaido.
In addition, we have a lineup of more than 20 videos, including a long video of 17 minutes and 30 seconds that introduces the animals of Hokkaido, and an introductory video with quizzes that can be used at schools and social education sites.
The feeling of “cute!” leads to the feeling of “wanting to protect” Hokkaido’s rich nature, knowing the animals of Hokkaido and the natural environment in which they live. I would appreciate it if HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, which is connected to, can be involved. Thank you for your interest in the Instagram “Hokkaido 3 Big Cute Animal Project” and YouTube “Hokkaido Cute Animal Channel”.
