[Regarding the structure of the 2022 season top team]
The top team, which is entering its fourth year in the J-League, started training on January 16th. In the 2023 season, Riki Takagi will take command and push forward towards “promotion” at Imabari Satoyama Stadium.
*Regarding Indio, the registered name has been changed from Indio to Marcus Vinicius from the 2023 season.
[Comment from Takeshi Okada, Chairman and Representative Director] This year, our company has 75 staff/coaches and over 100 players. It has been eight years since we restarted, and we have not been trying to manage things by valuing autonomy.
I’ve managed to run in the black until now.
However, the Imabari Satoyama Stadium will be completed this year, and in order to pay off the debt, the J. In the future, we will have to step into new businesses and generate new earnings.
For that reason, I would like to become a company that can respond to various changes.
Thank you for your continued support this year.
[Comment from Masafumi Yano, President and CEO]
The slogan for 2023 is “Push forward to where the light shines”. We have clear goals and a clear vision to aim for. “Promotion to J2” and “Creating liveliness at Imabari Satoyama Stadium 365 days a year.” I think that I was able to stand at this starting point because many people sympathized with me. In 2023, I would like to push forward with everyone in the FC Imabari family.
[Comment from Yoshiyuki Takemoto, General Manager]
Last season, we fought for promotion until the end of the league, but it was a very frustrating season to finish in 5th place.
This season, Manager Takagi has been promoted from head coach and has strengthened the base of last season’s players.
Looking back on last season, we lost points at important points. This season, whether or not you can play in a stable manner will affect your promotion. We will deliver a stable way of fighting, a fight suitable for the first year of Imabari Satoyama Stadium.
We will push forward towards promotion to J2, so please continue to support us. [Image 10
