Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto Shimbun, and ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO Executive Committee have started selling online tickets for “ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO 2023” from January 16th. Related events that combine various events will also be held during the exhibition period. Please take this opportunity to enjoy early spring Kyoto dyed in art.

As a satellite event of ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO, “ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO: SATELLITE 2023” will be held. This year, we will exhibit and sell the works of seasonal artists at four venues, mainly restaurants and galleries, to promote encounters with art among a diverse range of people.
In addition, related events in collaboration with “ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO” will also start. A solo exhibition by Noboru Tsubaki, who is also the director of this event, has started a little early. This solo exhibition explores Noboru Tsubaki’s thinking, starting with previously unpublished paintings produced in the 1970s and leading up to his current project, “Space Colony Tsubaki.” At Shimogamo Saryo, a long-established restaurant run by broadcast writer, scriptwriter, and vice president of Kyoto University of the Arts, Kundo Koyama, a solo exhibition of up-and-coming writer Hajiki Nishigaki will be held. Kyoto in the early spring when various events are fused and dyed in art. Together with “ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO 2023”, please enjoy an art tour that you can feel with your five senses.
