Joint development of low current consumption (*1) evaluation power supply module kit using ROHM’s “Nano Energy(TM)” power supply IC and Maxell’s all-solid-state battery, aiming to expand adoption of all-solid-state battery
First exhibition and demonstration at Nepcon Japan
Maxell, Ltd. (President: Keiji Nakamura; hereafter referred to as Maxell) has developed a high heat resistance (*2), long life (*3), and high safety (* Low current consumption (*) using 4) ceramic package type all-solid-state battery “PSB401010H” and ROHM Co., Ltd.’s (hereinafter referred to as ROHM) ultra-low current consumption technology “Nano Energy (TM)” step-up DC-DC converter IC For 1), we jointly developed a power supply module kit for evaluation (hereafter referred to as power supply module kit).

The power supply module kit includes a charging control IC jointly developed with ROHM, a newly developed step-up DC-DC converter IC equipped with ultra-low current consumption technology “Nano Energy(TM)”, a reset IC (optional) and an all-solid-state battery “PSB401010H”. ‘ is a combination of

Maxell’s all-solid-state batteries are attracting attention as next-generation secondary batteries because of their features such as high heat resistance (*2), long life (*3), and high safety (*4). The concept of this power supply module kit will be exhibited at “Nepcon Japan” (Maxell booth: East Exhibition Hall 21-14) to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from January 25, 2023 (Wednesday).
By making it easier for companies that are considering adopting all-solid-state batteries to evaluate them, Maxell aims to have more companies adopt them early and contribute to solving social issues through our products.
