[Purpose of exhibition] Why is there a Chinatown in Yokohama? And what kind of history has this city spun? From the opening of the port at the end of the Tokugawa shogunate to the present, the history of Yokohama Chinatown, which spans more than 160 years, is full of ups and downs influenced by the world situation at the time.
