Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu (Location: 1297 Hakone Ninotaira,
Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, Manager: Satoshi Shibata) has teamed up with Inoue Sake Brewery in Oimachi, Kanagawa Prefecture to produce original sake using natural spring water from the premises. started in December 2022.
This time, in commemoration of the sake production, we have prepared a two-day accommodation plan that allows you to experience the brewery tour of Inoue Sake Brewery, which is the actual production stage. Last year, our company’s millennial employees (born between 1981 and 1996) came up with the idea of producing original sake. It is a project that started with the desire to become a bridge that connects generations while cherishing tradition while introducing a new wind, and embodying “learning from the past”.
Hakone Kowakien has natural water that springs from Mt. Hakone, and its taste is mild and smooth. In addition, the rice we use is locally grown in Oimachi, Kanagawa Prefecture, and we will deliver sake that is loved by many people and has a unique taste in the local area. (* Product sales scheduled around June 2023)
We hope that seeing traditional culture through this brewery tour will help deepen your interest in and understanding of sake. Now that the number of foreign tourists is increasing, it is an accommodation plan with activities that we would like not only domestic customers but also foreign customers to experience.
