Jointly held by Akita International University (AIU) and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) at 14:00 on Saturday, February 25 at the Ritsumeikan Tokyo Campus
Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Beppu City, Oita Prefecture; President: Haruaki Deguchi, APU) and Akita International University (Akita City, Akita Prefecture; President: Monte Cassem, AIU) will meet at the Ritsumeikan Tokyo Campus on Saturday, February 25. , will co-host “Internationalization of Universities in the Post-Corona Period”.

■ AIU President: Monte Casem
Originally from Sri Lanka. In 1970, graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Sri Lanka. After graduating from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering in 1976, worked as a full-time lecturer at Sains Malaysia, professor at Ritsumeikan University, president of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, vice president of the Ritsumeikan Trust, and president of the Shizenkan Graduate School.
APU Vice President: Hiroshi Yoneyama
In 1991, withdrew from the Graduate School of History at the University of California, Los Angeles. Obtained Master of Arts (History) from University of Tsukuba. Specializes in American history and Japanese immigration history. After working as a professor at the Faculty of Letters, Ritsumeikan University, he assumed his current position at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in 2020.

educational journalist. After graduating from university, he got a job at Kawaijuku Educational Corporation. After independence, as a university consultant, involved in the development of AO entrance examinations for famous universities, entrance examination analysis and design, establishment of information centers, etc. He has served as a cram school and high school admission advisor.
