What is an engagement award?
This award, which will be held for the 5th time this year, is an event that recognizes companies that work to improve engagement and take advanced and effective initiatives using TUNAG. We received many entries from over 550 companies. Engagement is positioned as a foundation and an important component in the practice of human capital management, which has been attracting increasing attention in recent years. This year, it is expected that companies will invest in human resources and strengthen their human resource strategies at an accelerated pace, as major Japanese companies will become obligated to disclose human capital.
In response to this trend of the times, we will share the processes and knowledge of each company that is working to improve engagement and widely disseminate it, so that managers and company personnel who are working to improve engagement on a daily basis. We aim to provide a place for people to discover, learn, and connect.
“Trancom DS Co., Ltd.” was selected as the Engagement of the Year! ! Out of the six companies selected as Best Engagement Company, one company that has made particularly outstanding efforts will be awarded the “Engagement of the Year”, which is a general grand prix. This year, “Trancom DS Co., Ltd.” was selected.

In order to change the attitude of the transportation industry, we are working on reforming our management style, and in addition to transmitting vision and thoughts from management, we are operating at a high level of involvement of middle management, which is the core of engagement. I feel that the reason for this is that it is a system that fosters a sense of ownership by disclosing and reviewing the results of organizational diagnostics conducted with managers and picking up good actions and contributions by employees.
