Suzuyo Shoji Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, President: Masahiko Ito, hereinafter referred to as Suzuyo Shoji) and Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank (Head Office: Kakegawa City, Chairman: Katsuhide Ito, hereinafter referred to as Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank) will open in January 2023. We would like to inform you that we have concluded a business matching agreement with Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank on March 12th with the aim of supporting the promotion of carbon neutrality (hereinafter referred to as CN) for our customers. 1. Purpose
Under this agreement, Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank will understand the issues and needs of customers of Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank regarding CN support, and use Suzuyo Shoji’s items and services to support customers in resolving their issues.
Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank has been supporting decarbonization management by providing information and services that contribute to the decarbonization of customers under the slogan “From Japan’s oldest credit bank, we will deliver the newest initiatives in Japan.” . In addition, as an initiative to reduce our environmental impact, we acquired Eco Action 21 certification in 2010, and have worked to reduce CO2 emissions by reducing the amount of electricity and gasoline used and promoting energy conservation measures. As part of this, we have installed solar power generation equipment at the Kakegawa branch store, and have switched some of the power used at the store to renewable energy.
Suzuyo Shoji provides the CO2 emissions visualization platform service “EcoNiPass” as a service to support customers’ decarbonized
management. In addition, we are developing a wide range of items that contribute to CN, such as solar power generation equipment including PPA* models and energy-saving equipment. By combining these items and services, we can respond to customers’ CN with a consistent total support service, from understanding CO2 emissions, planning a reduction roadmap, and proposing specific implementation such as improvement of procurement and installation of equipment. We are supporting you.
Through this agreement, Suzuyo Shoji and Shimada Kakegawa Shinkin Bank will cooperate with each other and contribute to the promotion of CN in our customers and in the region.
