“OITA GIRLS 8 PROJECT”, which supports female students who want to change the future from Oita, will hold a final presentation on February 19, 2023 (Sunday) with the theme of “What I want to achieve most” by 12 female junior high and high school students. Held on
The final presentation of the “OITA GIRLS 8 PROJECT”, which aims to discover and nurture women who can play an active role in a wide range of fields, including advanced science and technology, will be held to fully support female junior and senior high school students who want to change the future from Oita. increase. At the final presentation, 12 female junior and senior high school students from Oita prefecture who were selected as G8 and took a special program to learn about entrepreneurship and problem-solving methods, presented “What I want to achieve most”. Make a presentation on the topic. At this presentation, audience votes will be held to determine the person (theme) who sympathizes the most. Then, based on the content of the selected proposals, “OITA G8’s PROPOSAL Oita Women’s Proposals for 10 Years from Now” will be created and sent out to society. After the presentation, all female students who worked on this project to the end will be selected and commended as “Women under the age of 18 (U-18) who will change the future from Oita”.

The first lecture was by Sputniko, an artist and an associate professor at the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts! We invited her as a lecturer, and after introducing the perspective of STEAM education, she gave a lecture on the power of future women. (August 24, 2022)
In the second lecture, Ms. Anju Ishiyama, who proposes a new lifestyle utilizing the sharing economy, talked about what is needed in rural areas in the future and the trends in the world.
