We are a buckwheat flour milling company founded in 1872 in Nakano, Tokyo. Soba has been popular among common people since the late Edo period in the form of soba-kiri. At that time, the main production area of buckwheat noodles in Edo was located in Musashino (Musashino plateau) in the western part of Edo, and Nakano, which was the last post town entering Edo from the Ome Kaido, was located between the production area and the center of Edo.
