Born in Osaka in 1960. In 1984, graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University Faculty of Law and joined Daiwa Securities. In 2006, he was appointed General Manager of Business Corporation No. 7, and in 2009 he was appointed Executive Officer in charge of Business Corporation. In 2012, Managing Executive Officer in charge of business corporations and corporate planning. In 2015, Senior Managing Director, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Headquarters, in charge of business corporations, and in charge of corporate planning. In 2018, Senior Managing Director in charge of corporate public offerings. Retired as Senior Managing Director at the end of March 2021 and became the company’s first Executive Advisor in April.
