A hand-embroidered kimono that instantly fascinates people, and a gorgeously colored furisode collection will be unveiled at Shuei’s first exhibition!

GLION Group (Location: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) operates Kyoto Nishijin / Shuei Co., Ltd.
To commemorate the store relocation, an exhibition of carefully selected furisode will be held on March 11th (Sat) and March 12th (Sun), 2023 at Kyoto Ryori Foil.

Shuei Co., Ltd. (located in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto) is one of only two manufacturers in Japan that provides valuable hand-embroidered kimonos.
We have an assortment of authentic products that are the result of a collection of craftsmanship techniques, such as fine expressions that cannot be experienced in mass production by machines. This time, we planned the exhibition with a strong desire to pass on the skills of our craftsmen to future generations.

About the event
We will hold an exhibition for the first time by collecting
high-quality and extremely rare furisode that can only be collected by Shuei.
At the venue, we have mainly hand-embroidered, hand-dyed and hand-dyed precious kimonos, as well as accessories such as double belts and sandals.
If you like kimono, we will also exhibit valuable kimono that you cannot miss, so please come and visit us.
Due to the prevention of infectious diseases, we have a reservation priority system, so you can slowly see the real technology with a small number of people.

In addition, there are various events such as a tour of traditional techniques such as shibori, maintenance of mama furisode (long-sleeved kimono given to you by your mother) by a professional coordinator, and consultation on any problems, so please bring your family, friends, or alone.
