Since 2011, the Candle Night has been held on the 11th of each month. This year, more than 1,600 dreams of children from Hamadori, Fukushima will be added to the festival. Furthermore, this year, it has been decided that a candle night will be held for two days on March 10th and 11th in front of JR Futaba Station in Futaba Town, where the “Declaration of Returning to Town” was made at the end of August 2022.

A support group established in Tokyo in response to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Starting with the provision of supplies and cooking meals, we will provide various support contents such as temporary housing and reconstruction housing so as to stay close to the people affected by the disaster. On the 11th of every month, events are held in various parts of Fukushima Prefecture. As a culmination of this, on March 11th, a recovery support event SONG OF THE EARTH was held, consisting of music and food, a large kite flying that depicts the dreams of children in Fukushima, and a candle night. On the 10th anniversary of the earthquake, we started a symposium together with the Ministry of the Environment.
From now on, LFN will continue to carry out reconstruction activities with various companies, from emergency support to mental care, under the theme of “From sadness to joy.”
