Ise’s specialty strawberry “Kaorino” is a variety characterized by its elegant aroma and refreshing sweetness. Please enjoy the seasonal strawberry “Kaorino”.

Ise City, Mie Prefecture (Mayor: Kenichi Suzuki) aims to spread the goodness of Ise through Ise’s specialty products. We will hold an event that serves as PR and tourist information. Following the PR of the first “Rendaijigaki”, the second this time, the PR of
“Strawberry”, which is in season from January to February, will be held from February 11 (Sat) to 12. It will be held for two days until Sunday. Please stop by when you come to Ise.

About Ise strawberries
 Ise City, known for the Ise Grand Shrine, has a thriving strawberry production. It boasts the second largest production volume in the prefecture and is highly evaluated by the market as a promotional production area that ships to the prefecture market as “Mie
strawberry”.
The main cultivars are “Kaorino” and “Akihime”. “Kaorino” is a cultivar developed in Mie Prefecture and is characterized by its elegant aroma and refreshing sweetness.

“Okage Yokocho” is a side street in the middle of “Oharai-machi”, Torii-mae-cho, which runs along the Isuzu River from Ujibashi-mae of Ise Jingu Naiku.
