Dwango Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Tsuyoshi Natsuno) is the largest music and talk live festival in Japan hosted by the company, “VTuber Fes Japan 2023 Supported by Paidy” (Date: April 30, 2023) We are pleased to announce that the Grand Prix of the “VTuber Fes Japan 2023 Stage Appearance Audition” project for the right to appear on the stage has been decided.

Final judging live broadcast
The audition for this time began on January 19, 2023 (Thursday), with the first round of judging, and on February 5 (Sunday), 13 finalists conducted the final judging on Niconico Live Broadcasting. During the final judging live broadcast, while many viewers were watching, the finalists showed off their singing and chatting in 10 minutes. Compete for the number of “gift” points that can be earned. The broadcast lasted about 5 hours, and the broadcast screen was filled with barrage of “8888888888” and supportive comments and gifts from beginning to end.
As a result, Sakura Mochi and Mina Harukasumi in the “Open League” that anyone can participate in as a VTuber, and Shimofuri Gyuu (Beef Fat [20]) and Nishino in the “NEXT GENERATION League” for
up-and-coming young VTubers. was selected as the Grand Prix and won the right to perform on the stage of “VTuber Fes Japan 2023 Supported by Paidy”. In addition, benefits such as guest appearance rights on JFN affiliated FM radio nationwide and guest appearance rights on Nico Nico official programs were also given. This time, it will be interesting to see how the new VTubers who won the Grand Prix will color the big stage.
