At Musashino Art University, “Awards for Excellence” are given to students who present particularly outstanding works and research results in undergraduate and graduate school graduation works. The Excellent Works Exhibition is an exhibition that has continued since the opening of the museum in 1967, displaying the works and research results of about 100 award winners in one place across departments and courses.
The culmination of the production and research that our students have been working on during their time at the university is all excellent, and reflects the current state of art education practiced at our university.
We hope that you will feel the possibilities of expression in the future by looking at the works full of vitality of a new generation in the field of art and design.
Exhibition using the entire museum
A wide variety of works will be exhibited using the entire space of the museum. In five large and small exhibition rooms, various works and research papers such as paintings, prints, graphic design, installations, crafts, architecture, and performance will be exhibited. Sculptures and other three-dimensional works are lined up in the open atrium space, and video works such as live-action movies and animations are screened in the museum hall equipped with screening equipment.
