Obtained GDP certification for Frankfurt branch in Germany
HANKYU HANSHIN EXPRESS (DEUTSCHLAND) GMBH, our subsidiary in Germany, has acquired GDP certification (*1) for the first time as a Group company on January 24th.
We have obtained CEIV Pharma certification (*2) at two major airports in Japan (Kansai International Airport in June 2019 and Narita International Airport in March 2021), and we are working to obtain GDP certification at our overseas bases. We will expand the pharmaceutical distribution network that guarantees advanced transportation quality and safety by promoting

An abbreviation of “Good Distribution Practice,” a standard for proper distribution that guarantees the quality of transportation and storage in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Each country has its own standards, but the GDP guidelines formulated by the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2010 are the pioneer of internationally unified standards, and are enacted in the EU. In Japan, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare issued the “Japanese version of GDP guidelines” in 2018, and awareness of GDP has increased as a result of the transportation of vaccines during the COVID-19 crisis.
