◆Overview
National University Corporation Okayama University (Headquarters: Kita Ward, Okayama City; President: Hiroshi Makino) was selected by the Cabinet Office for the “National University Innovation Creation Environment Enhancement Project” in 2020.
・Strengthening management and enhancing highly specialized human resources ・ Convert the value of education and research, existing networks and research infrastructure platforms into “value of profit”
・Promote “increasing earnings” by strengthening medical activities that are directly linked to business
・Creating a “flow” for collaborative activities with startups and ventures that are lagging behind and nurturing “earning buds” Based on the main points of the four planning policies, we are implementing various initiatives throughout the university.
As one of these efforts, the BIZEN-Project (BIZEN) is promoting industry-academia co-creation activities as “setting up an open innovation laboratory and supporting research and development” in the medical field centered on Okayama University Hospital (Kita Ward, Okayama City). =Business Innovation Zone for Entrepreneurship)》 This time, on February 14, 2023 (Tuesday), the 6th BIZEN activity will be held as a joint project of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development “Next-generation medical device collaboration base development project” and “Regional collaboration independence promotion project”. We will hold a call out party.
BIZEN Lab residents, BIZEN members and experts will participate on-site, but others will participate online. We are looking forward to your participation.
