The Yokohama Jazz Association will hold a concert that combines dementia and Jazz on Sunday, April 16th at Kannai Hall in Yokohama. Dementia is a problem that lurks just around the corner. Dementia interferes with the lives of the individual and their families, and burdens such as treatment and nursing care costs are also incurred. The development of therapeutic drugs is progressing, but above all, prevention is the most important way to extend healthy life
expectancy. On the other hand, music heals the heart and makes you feel good. Furthermore, it is also expected to stimulate the brain and prevent dementia.
At this event, we will provide an opportunity to actively face dementia, which is now a familiar health problem, through talks and performances by doctors and performances by jazz musicians that will resonate with the brain.
