At the Yumeji Museum of Art (Location: 2-1-32 Hama, Naka-ku, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; Director: Mitsunobu Kojima; Management: Ryobi Cultural Promotion Foundation), a black cat that looks like it has stepped out of Yumeji’s work, “Kuro We would like to inform you that a mini photo exhibition of “Nosuke: Title = Oniwa Bangashira” will be held from February 21 (Tuesday), the day before Cat Day (February 22). .
In addition, in this exhibition, the two-shot colored paper of Kuronosuke and Dayan, which was sketched by Akiko Ikeda, the author of “Dayan the Cat” (picture book), when she visited for an interview, will be exhibited for the first time.

In commemoration of Cat Day on February 22nd, we will hold a project where you can enjoy a museum full of cats in connection with the black cat, the garden clerks “Kuronosuke”.
There is an exhibition corner that looks back on the six and a half years since Kuronosuke came to the museum, as well as an Okayama-born designer, Mitooka. A panel exhibit designed by Mr. Eiji based on the motif of “Yumeji’s Cat”, and “Kuronosuke” and “Takehisa Yumeji”, the garden guard cats of the Yumeji Folk Art Museum by Dr. Akiko Ikeda, who is known for “Dayan the Cat”. The original sketch of ” has been unveiled for the first time. A special exhibition will be held as “40th Part Nyan” to support Dayang 40th.
At art cafe Yumeji, a sweets menu will also appear only during the exhibition. Also, at both venues, we will present a black assistant card to everyone who visits during the period (look forward to what you can win)
