The Youth Division of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (hereinafter referred to as Japan YEG / Chairman Akihiro Nishimura, belonging to the Youth Division of the Sabae Chamber of Commerce and Industry) was held on Saturday, February 18, 5th year of Reiwa at the Akita Prefectural Budokan (Akita City, Akita Prefecture). At the commemorative ceremony of the 42nd National Convention Akita Convention, we held a policy proposal handover ceremony.
Over the course of a year, we collected the voices of YEG members and created the following proposals.

Proposal 1, “Utilization of subsidies for SMEs”
Proposal 2, “Effective utilization of human resources and improvement of productivity in SMEs”
Proposal 3, “Regional economic revitalization”
Recommendation 4 “Supporting SMEs for Carbon Neutral Initiatives” (See related URL for details)
In preparing policy proposals, in April, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the current management issues faced by our own companies and small and medium-sized enterprises in our own associations, targeting young people’s chairpersons of chambers of commerce and industry across the country. We also conducted an additional questionnaire to hear the voices of members nationwide on individual themes such as money utilization.
In addition, once or twice a month, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, and the Ministry of the Environment hold online opinion exchange meetings and study sessions on policies related to the proposal theme. We exchanged opinions with the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and nine regional Bureaus of Economy, Trade and Industry, and learned about the actual situation, issues, and policies of SMEs and reflected them in our policy proposals.
Mr. Nishimura, Chairman of the YEG of Japan, delivered the above policy proposal to Mr. Ken Kobayashi, Chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
