● Background of the event
WeRUN is a walking app that is used for health measures of employees working for companies and organizations.
In order to enjoy walking more and acquire healthy habits, we will host an event in which teams compete with various companies. Companies using WeRUN commented that “employees’ awareness of health has increased”, “through the event, employees were able to have common topics to talk about, which was useful for revitalizing
communication”, and “everyone from the president to new employees had a great time”. We have received comments such as “I was able to make contact with employees from other bases that I had never met before.” The event will be held in order to further improve employee health and engagement.

Manneken (R) Walking Special Spring Team Competition 2023
Period: April 15, 2023 (Sat) 0:00 to April 30, 2023 (Sun) 23:59 16 days Purpose of the event: Improving the health of employees working for companies and organizations, and stimulating communication
Contents: A walking event in which employees of companies and organizations walk as one team per company. Each member’s step count is measured with a smartphone app.
Compete for the speed of the goal by following the “Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido” route in the app with the average number of steps per day (total number of steps / number of people).
Participation fee: free
Minimum number of team members: 5 or more per group (limited to 1 team per group, no upper limit)
Smartphone app used: WeRUN (iPhone, Android compatible)
