A legendary cactus book compiled by LA’s charismatic cactus shop Cactus Store. Xerophiles are drought-tolerant/dry-loving plants such as cacti and succulents. Based on 80 years of personal archives of cactus and succulent plant lovers, this book is a collection of precious plant photographs taken on trips to natural habitats around the world. It also includes an interview with the photographer, and conveys the breath of an epic journey.

In 2014, a maniac cactus shop opened in Los Angeles’ Echo Park by graphic designer Carlos Morella, Jeff Capron, and Max Martin. Boasting a cult following, they not only produce plants, but also create original clay pots, T-shirts, and furniture. We also open a shop in New York seasonally.
