Expand the circle of Aichi’s biodiversity conservation activities! “Biodiversity Youth Exchange Meeting” and “Biodiversity Supporter Forum” were held.

March 5, 2023 (Sunday) At the Nagoya Sun Sky Room, youth groups engaged in biodiversity-related activities will gather to share their efforts and exchange opinions, and register as a biodiversity supporter. The Biodiversity Supporters Forum was held for people who are interested in biodiversity and nature.
The “Biodiversity Youth Exchange Meeting / Biodiversity Supporter Forum” accelerates the mainstreaming of biodiversity and promotes biodiversity, which is the foundation that supports the economy and society, through cooperation and partnerships among various actors and generations. The event was held with the aim of promoting conservation and building a sustainable society.

In order to expand the scope of conservation activities, Aichi Prefecture is making efforts to have all registered “Biodiversity Supporters” share information on conservation activities undertaken by each entity within the prefecture.
In addition, we have started the “Aichi Biodiversity Company Certification System” with the aim of increasing the willingness of companies to make efforts and spreading excellent efforts throughout the prefecture.
Through these efforts, the prefecture will continue to contribute to the achievement of the global goals.
