Support from corporate subsidy application to DR implementation
ENERES Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Mitsuhiro Tsuzuki; hereinafter referred to as “ENERES”) is pleased to announce that in order to promote the introduction of IoT for equipment that can be used for corporate storage battery introduction and demand response (DR), We have registered as a “storage battery aggregator [*1]” and “DR aggregator [*2]” recruited by the Environmental Co-creation Initiative (SII).
In addition to resolving the tight supply and demand of electricity, the stable spread of renewable energy, which is easily affected by the weather, is an urgent issue for a decarbonized society. From this point of view, we are working on DR, which utilizes storage batteries to help reduce power supply, and VPP (virtual power plant), which remotely controls a large amount of resources (storage batteries, equipment, etc.) using IoT. It is expected that aggregators will play an active role as a bearer of VPP and VPP.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is implementing a subsidy project [*3] with the condition of contracting with an aggregator, with the aim of expanding storage batteries that can reliably contribute to DR/VPP and expanding IoT resources. The “storage battery aggregator” and “DR aggregator” registered by ENERES this time are one of them, and by contracting with ENERES, it is possible to apply for the corresponding subsidized project implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (executive body: SII). is.
ENERES has independently developed a resource monitoring and control system and has built up a track record as an aggregator through demonstration projects and actual business. ENERES has been introduced by applying for subsidies from companies aiming to “introduce DR-compatible commercial and industrial storage batteries, etc.” As an aggregator, we support the actual operation of VPP.
